Donovan Germain - Tenor
Voice: Lofty, lucid, versatile. Capable of soaring high into soprano land, Donovan has the rockin' range and power that many singers want yet few possess.
A licensed vocal music teacher, Donovan has been singing in performances since he was 8 years old. He currently works in the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Donovan enjoys singing all styles of music, and cites Garth Brooks as his first singing coach.
I grew up out in the country outside the small town of Austin, MN. My sister always listened to Garth Brooks while driving us to school, and it got me interested. I imitated his voice and from there, began to find my own..
Donovan began looking at singing as a profession after his first year of college. He transferred from Riverland Community College to the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, where he began a music education degree. Four and one-half years later, he received his degree from Winona State University.
Donovan has been in numerous singing groups including vocal jazz and men.s choir, as well as musicals ranging from barbershop to rock opera. When not arranging music, he enjoys running and watching movies in his spare time.
